Back to the grind…

Sorry for the lack of posting over the weekend,  I had a few longs days but was able to relax yesterday and catch up on things around the house.  I also worked on the blog layout some.  It is a work in progress and will continue to develop the next few weeks.

Weekly Goal Update

Last week’s goals:

  • Rest my foot on Monday night.  No exercise Monday!
  • Run Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday.  Only happened on Tuesday but I did get new shoes!
  • Do the 30 Day Shred on Wednesday and Friday  Nope, didn’t happen.  My time was taken over by cookies.
  • Cook at least 3 healthy meals at home! Monday, Wednesday and an unposted dinner on Thursday.

Healthy Goals for this week:

  • Start and Finish Week 2 of the C25K.
  • Shred 3 times.
  • Eat a healthy dinner at home 5 of 7 nights!

I went to the gym after work tonight but all of the treadmills were taken so I did the Glute workout for 40 minutes on the Elliptical.  My legs and butt are going to be sore tomorrow!

Dinner was vegetable soup and quinoa.  I will take some pictures and share the recipe later this week.  It is a healthy filling soup that is perfect for a quick dinner.

Time to catch up on some blog reading and watch the Bachelor!  Have a great week.
