New Kicks!

I think I found the culprit to my foot problem:  MY SHOES!

After work I stopped by Run In to see if they had a solution to my sore foot.  I explained to the guy what I thought my problem was and asked for shoe or insole advice.  He took my shoes, sat them on a table and looked at them from the back.  They were leaning toward the middle which shows that I am a OVERPRONATOR but was wearing NEUTRAL shoes.  I tried on a few different pairs and ended up with Brooks Adrenaline GTS 11.

I wore them to the gym tonight and finished 50 minutes on the treadmill almost pain free!  I did Week 1 Day 3 of the C25K and then added in some extra walking.

I can’t wait to go back to the gym in my new shoes.  They felt so much better than my old shoes.  Thank you Run In for your help today!

  2. Sheena! Shoe’s are so huge in the fitness game! I know form experiencing so many years of shin splints. Glad to see you got a new pair! Good luck with the C25K plan! It works wonders if you follow it!
