Pain in the Arch…

Tony and I had a great time last night with our friends Joe & Julie.  We met them downtown for dinner and then went to see “Identity Crisis.”  It was a great play.  If you live in Greenville and have time this week, go to Centre Stage and see it.  It was very entertaining!

I am currently curled up on the couch with bag of frozen corn on my foot.

According to my husband, the Doctor, I am suffering from Plantar Faciitis.  I started having sharp pains in the arch of my foot yesterday.  It seemed to be slightly better today so I went to the gym for Week 1, Day 2 of the C25K program.  It was a painful run but I’m glad I did it!  Hopefully my foot will start to get better.  I want to be able to run a few times this week!

If you remember, last Sunday I listed goals for the week.  I didn’t quite accomplish all of them but I got close!  I am going to start posting my goals/workout plan for the week every Sunday.  Hopefully it will help me stay on track!

Last week’s goals:

  • Run 3 times, 2/3 Friday and Sunday
  • Do the 30 Day Shred video 2-3 times, Just once on Wednesday.
  • Apply for 3 jobs, Completed!
  • Put away the Christmas decorations, Completed!
  • Cook 3-4 healthy meals, Cooked 3 meals at home, almost all healthy!

Healthy Goals for this week:

  • Rest my foot on Monday night
  • Run Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday
  • Do the 30 Day Shred on Wednesday and Friday.
  • Cook at least 3 healthy meals at home!

Time to relax on the couch a little before it’s bed time.  Hope you had a great weekend!

Have you ever hurt your foot before?  Any advice?

    1. I am NOTORIOUS for wearing bad shoes. I’ll get tendonitis occasionally, and I just have to ditch the heels (or sometimes flip flops) for a few days. Very painful!! Hope you feel better!
