Mac’n’Cheese, Please

I’ve been curled up on the couch since Friday afternoon thanks to a cold.  Crosby has been curled up on my lap or next to me all weekend.  He wanted to help write my blog post today, but got too tired and fell asleep.

Since I’ve been feeling under the weather, I thought the perfect lunch would be mac and cheese served along side a cup of grapefruit bubbly complements of my sodastream!

I interrupt this blog post to show you the cupcakes currently in my oven:Cupcakes

Cupcakes 1

Yes, I was in the middle of a blog post and decided to make angel food cake but realized my cake pans are all packed up in the garage.  I improvised and made cupcakes.  I followed the directions on the box for cupcakes (well I added some sprinkles to the top to make them prettier!) but they seem to be a little too full.  We will see how they turn out in a few minutes.

Back to the mac’n’cheese…

Time to watch the rest of the Pens game and rest up on the couch.  Have a great Sunday and Go Pens!

  1. yumyum! :) love the ideas for the mac and cheese and the angel food cup cakes! my bundt pan has gone MIA so I will have to try this 😉

    • The mac and cheese was delicious. If you make the cup cakes, just make sure you don’t put too much in each cup. Mine got a little too big in the oven!
